On the evening of Thursday, 13th February, the grand hall of Nunthorpe Hall was filled with the enchanting sounds of opera, as residents and their families gathered for a truly magical event. Our Night at the Opera was an exquisite celebration of music, fine hospitality, and cherished moments, set in the warm and luxurious surroundings of our Grade II listed care home.

As guests arrived, they were greeted with a glass of chilled prosecco, setting the tone for an evening of refined indulgence. The soft melodies of a live pianist, johnny,  created an ambiance of sophistication, while the glow of candlelight and the cosy charm of our home made everyone feel at ease.

The highlight of the evening was a captivating performance by a talented opera singer, miranda,  whose powerful and emotive voice transported everyone to another world. Residents and their loved ones sat in awe, soaking in the beauty of each note, while others hummed along to familiar arias.

Throughout the evening, trays of hot hors d'oeuvres were served, offering a delightful selection of elegant bites to complement the music. The combination of exquisite food, fine drinks, and breathtaking performances made for a truly memorable night.
