Spring at Nunthorpe Hall
Welcoming spring and sunshine at Nunthorpe Hall
Spring has well and truly arrived at Nunthorpe Hall, and we’ve been making the most of every bit of sunshine. The longer, brighter days have brought a lovely energy to the home, with flowers starting to bloom and everyone enjoying that fresh, uplifting feeling the season brings.
Our residents have been getting outside whenever they can, enjoying gentle spring walks and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Whether it’s a chat in the garden or simply sitting in the sunshine, these moments have been a real highlight.
There’s also been plenty of creativity indoors. From pottery painting to making colourful spring decorations, everyone has been getting involved and having fun. The home is now full of cheerful displays, flowers, and handmade touches that really capture the spirit of the season.
We’ve had lots to celebrate too. Mother’s Day was a lovely occasion, with families visiting and spending special time together. Easter brought plenty of smiles, with themed activities and treats enjoyed by all. And of course, we’ve celebrated a number of birthdays along the way—always a great excuse for cake and a get-together!
One of the standout moments this spring was our evening event with Tom Powell. It was a fantastic night filled with music, laughter, and great company - definitely one to remember.
Life at Nunthorpe Hall in spring is all about enjoying the little things - sunshine, creativity, time together, and making happy memories. We’re looking forward to even more of it in the weeks ahead.
